BNP holds milad on Shab-e-Barat

BNP on Tuesday arranged a mild mahfil marking the holy Shab-e-Barat, the night of fortune and forgiveness, reports UNB.
The programme was held on the ground floor of the party's Nayapaltan central office. BNP vice chairman Barkatullah Bulu, senior joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi, Ulema Dal president Abdul Malek and the party's some leaders and activists joined the milad.
A Qurankhawani by the students of a Shantinagar Madrasa was also held there on the occasion.
Later, a munjat was offered seeking the early recovery of BNP's ailing chairperson Khaleda Zia, now in jail.
