BNP holds protest rally tomorrow

BNP will hold protest rally on Saturday demanding safe return of its missing joint secretary general Salahuddin Ahmed.
Convener of Dhaka City BNP Mirza Abbas and member secretary Habib-Un-Nabi Khan Sohel in a statement issued on Thursday announced the programme.
"The countrymen are worried over the missing of Salahuddin Ahmed. Even ten days after his missing, neither the government nor government agencies admitted responsibility for his arrest or confinement. Despite repeated appeals from his family and the party, the government is yet to take any effective steps to find out his whereabouts," the statement said.
"People's anxiety is only intensifying due to the government's dubious attitude of finding out Salahuddin. We urge the party men to observe the protest rally on Saturday at all the wards and thanas in Dhaka city," it mentioned.
