Awami League Publicity and Publication Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud said on Saturday the leaders of BNP are out to indulge in ill politics capitalising on the sickness issue of BNP's chief Khaleda Zia, reports BSS.
"They (BNP) are out to make ill-attempts for misguiding the countrymen by doing dirty politics and such attempts tantamount to bad luck for Begum Zia…Their main goal is not the treatment of Begum Zia," he told the reporters at a press conference at AL president's political office in city's Dhanmondi area.
AL leaders Faridunnahar Laily, Professor Rafiqur Rahman and Remond Areng, among others, were present.
Hasan said a five-member medical board has been formed for the better treatment of Begum Zia.
