BNP-Jamaat violence costs small, medium industries Tk 71.50b: Amu

Some 4,254 private sector small and medium industries under the BSCIC across the country incurred loss of Tk 71.50 billion due to the “destructive activities by the BNP-led 18-party alliance over the trial of the war criminals.”
Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu stated this in Parliament while responding to a starred question of M Israfil Alam (Naogon-6), which was raised by Abu Zahid (Habiganj-3).
Amu mentioned that the loss had accumulated as the production, marketing of the products and their transportation hampered severely due to what he said the destructive activities of the BNP-led 18 party alliance, according to a news agency.
