BNP leader Hafizuddin released on bail

BNP Vice-chairman Major (retd) Hafizuddin Ahmed was freed on bail from jail Wednesday.
The Narayanganj district jail authorities released the BNP leader around 5.00pm as he secured bail in all the cases filed against him.
Police arrested Hafizuddin Ahmed from in front of the National Press Club in the city on December 29 last.
 Talking to reporters at the jail gate, the BNP leader said the government undemocratically arrested him and implicated him in different ‘false’ cases, according to a news agency.
