BNP leader held over attack on Hasina convoy

SATKHIRA, Dec 3 (UNB): The police arrested Wednesday a local leader of Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in connection with the attack on convoy of the then opposition leader Sheikh Hasina in Kolaroa Upazila on August 30, 2002.
The arrestee was identified as Rabiul Islam, joint secretary of Kolaroa Upazila unit BNP and also chairman of Jugekhali Union Parishad.
