BNP leader Khandaker Mahbubuddin Ahmed passes away

Former member of parliament and BNP leader Advocate Khandaker Mahbubuddin Ahmed died of cardiac arrest at a city hospital Saturday evening. He was 88.
Hospital sources said Mahbubuddin Ahmed, also a BNP standing committee member, was admitted to United Hospital with cardiac problems on February 25.
He breathed his last at the ICU of the hospital around 7:45pm.
Meanwhile, BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia condoled the death of Khandaker Mahbubuddin and conveyed deep sympathy to his bereaved family members, according to a news agency.
