BNP lives in press releases: Quader

Minister for Road Transport and Bridges Obaidul Quader said Sunday the activities of BNP are now circling only in speeches and press releases, reports BSS.
"There is nothing to concern about BNP as the party has no activities except delivering speeches and distributing press releases," Mr Quader said this while speaking at a sports kits distribution programme among child-juvenile organised by Sheikh Russell Jatiya Shishu Kishore Parishad (SRJSKP) at the Tower Bhaban auditorium of National Sports Parishad to mark the 68th birth day of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina.
Sirajul Islam Mollah, MP, Adviser of SRJSKP Mahmud Kamal, SRJSKP President (Dhaka Mohanagar) KM Shahidullah, General Secretary Ln M Mojibor Rahman Hawlader also spoke with SRJSKP Secretary General Mahmud-us-Samad Chowdhury in the chair.
Milad mahfil at Ganobhaban
UNB report adds: A milad-cum-dua mahfil was held at Ganobhaban, the official residence of Prime Minister (PM) Sheikh Hasina, after Asr prayers Sunday on the occasion of her 68th birthday.
PM's personal staff, well-wishers, party leaders and officials and employees of the PM's Office and Ganobhaban attended the milad mahfil.
BSS report from Chittagong adds: Chittagong City Awami League (AL) and its front organisations Sunday celebrated the 68th birth anniversary of its President and Bangabandhu's daughter Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina in a befitting manner.
To mark the day, Chittagong city AL organised a discussion at the Shaheed Minar Sunday.
Vice Presidents of Chittagong city AL Mahtab Uddin Chowdhury, Noyeem Uddin Chowdhury, Sunil Sarkar, General Secretary AZM Nasir Uddin, AL leaders - Bodiul Alam, Advocate Iftaker Saimul Chowdhury and panel mayor Hasan Mahmud Hasni addressed the function.
