BNP long-march towards Teesta Barrage this month

Friday, 11 April 2014

BNP will hold a long-march programme towards Teesta Barrage this month demanding Bangladesh's fair sharing of Teesta water from India, reports UNB.
The decision was taken at a BNP standing committee meeting held at party chairperson's Gulshan office Wednesday night with Khaleda Zia in the chair.
The meeting also decided that party chief Khaleda Zia will visit some districts while senior leaders will hold a series of workers' and public meetings in every division in the months ahead of the long-march, said senior leaders.
The party has also decided not to launch any tough movement anytime soon as it prefers holding some issue-based programmes right now.
