BNP MPs preparing for mass resignation
Thursday, 25 November 2010
Opposition BNP lawmakers are preparing for en masse resignation from parliament in protest against the government's 'misrule and repression' on its political opponents. Under the directive of the BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia resignation letters are being collected from the party MPs. A competent source said the resignation letters have already been collected from most of the BNP MPs. Those party MPs who are abroad and those who remain busy in their respective constituencies will submit their resignations shortly. The resignation letters will be submitted to Khaleda Zia, Leader of the Opposition in Parliament. — UNB
