BNP preparing for movement, nat\\\'l polls: Mirza Alamgir

Saturday, 5 July 2014

BNP acting Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Saturday said that his party is getting ready for streets movements and national elections at a time. He came up with the comments while talking to the reporters in the city after visiting BNP Chairperson’s media wing member Shamsuddin Didar who was injured in a road crash few days back. ‘People did not recognise the January 5 elections,’ Mirza Alamgir claimed, demanding another national election under a non-party and neutral caretaker government soon. ‘The criticism by the ruling party over the BNP movement is nothing but a clear expression of their frustration as they have lost contact with people,’ the BNP spokesperson said, according to a news agency.
