BNP rally in city against judge impeachment law Wednesday

BNP’s Dhaka city unit will hold its scheduled rally protesting the move to re-empower parliament to impeach judges in front of the Jatiya Press Club on Wednesday. Besides, the 20-party alliance will form a human chain programme at the same venue on Saturday as part of its countrywide programme marking the ’International Day of the Victims of Enforced Disappearance’. Dhaka city unit BNP convener Mirza Abbas said this at a press briefing at BNP’s Nayapaltan central office after an emergency meeting of the unit on Tuesday, according to a news agency.
