BNP resorting to lies to skip polls: Hasan

Awami League Publicity and Publication Affairs Secretary Dr Hasan Mahmud said on Monday BNP is resorting to falsehood for skipping next general election, reports BSS.
"They (BNP) are trying to find out exit root from the national election…. The party should participate in the next general election for their survival in politics," he told a discussion at the Jatiya Press Club here.
Bangabandhu Sangskritik Jote organised the discussion as Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina received an honorary Doctor of Literature (D. Litt) from Kazi Nazrul University of West Bengal, India.
General Secretary Dhaka City South unit of Awami League Shahe Alam Murad, professionals and leaders of the Sangskritik Jote, among others, addressed the function with its adviser Chitraranjan Das in the chair.
