BNP starts fresh progs today

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will start a fresh series of programmes from today (Monday), to realise their 10-point demand, which will continue until June 15.
The party will start its programmes through a discussion, marking the death anniversary of BNP founder Ziaur Rahman at the Institution of Engineers, Bangladesh auditorium in the capital today (Monday).
Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the party's media cell, said the new programmes would start today (Monday) through the discussion.
He also said their previously declared programmes concluded through a march in Mymensingh on Sunday (May 28).
BNP has been observing different programmes, including rally and march, to compel the government to fulfill their demands.
The demands are immediate resignation of the government, holding a free and fair national election under a neutral caretaker government, reconstituting the Election Commission, releasing all detained party leaders and activists, reducing prices of essential commodities including power and gas, and scrapping the Digital Security Act, etc.
