Friday, 26 November 2010

BNP has termed the recent newspaper report on the party's Senior Vice Chairman Tarique Rahman as 'devoid of information' and 'baseless', reports UNB.
BNP Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi made the remark at a press briefing at the party's Nayapaltan central office Thursday afternoon.
Mr Rizvi said the recent report published in a daily Wednesday centering Tarique, who is now in London, was 'misleading and unjustified.'
The report published in the daily reportedly mentioned that Tarique Rahman expressed resentment over the role of some former Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) leaders, now central leaders of the party, when met him Sunday.
