BNP threat for movement rhetoric: Obaidul

Terming BNP’s threat for waging a movement after Eid ‘nothing but rhetoric’, Communications Minister Obidaul Quader on Monday said there is nothing to be worried about it. “BNP’s threat for launching a movement will be of no use. The party which can’t collect even 500 people for bringing out a procession, how they will initiate a movement?” he said. The minister came up with the remarks while talking to reporters during a visit to an under-construction bridge over the Madhumati River at Patgati after placing wreaths at the grave of Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at Tungipara marking the 65th founding anniversary of Bangladesh Awami League, according to a news agency.
