Wednesday, 26 March 2014
BNP will lay siege to the offices of Upazila Nirbahi Officers (UNOs) across the country Thursday protesting what it said the widespread terrorism, capturing of polling stations and vote rigging by the ruling party men during the fourth phase of upazila elections held Sunday, reports UNB.
The party will also submit memoranda, containing its demands, to the UNO offices on the day.
BNP joint secretary general Ruhul Kabir Rizvi announced the agitation programme at a press briefing at the party's Nayapaltan central office Tuesday.
