BNP vice chairman Barrister Aminul Haque dies

BNP vice chairman Barrister Aminul Haque passed away just over a month after being put on life support, reports bdnews24.com.
He was 76.
He died during treatment at Gulshan's United Hospital around 10:07 am on Sunday, the party's vice chairman Prof AZM Zahid Hossain told the news agency.
Aminul was battling liver cancer and had also received treatment at Singapore's General Hospital.
He returned to Bangladesh on March 14 and was subsequently kept on life support at Dhaka's United Hospital.
He was thrice elected the MP for Rajshahi-1 as a BNP candidate. Aminul was also in the cabinet during the BNP's terms in government.
