BNP withdraws expulsion order of Babar

In a latest development in the regrouping opposition party, BNP withdraw the expulsion of its former Publication Affairs Secretary and ex-state minister for Home Lutfozzaman Babar, now again in jail after a short freedom during the general election, reports UNB.
The expulsion order was retracted as per Article 5 (Ga) of the party's constitution at the directive of BNP chairperson and ex-PM Khaleda Zia following an application of Babar.
According to party sources, the decision was conveyed to Babar
through a letter dated December 17 and signed by newly made BNP joint secretary general in charge of office secretary Ruhul Kabir Rizvi.
The letter reads: "The party hopes that your sincerity and efficiency will remain active to keep contribution in increasing political and organizational strengths of the party."
