BNP\\\'s emergency meeting shortly

The BNP has called an emergency meeting of its policymakers on Friday evening to chalk out an action plan. The meeting will be held at BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia’s political office in Gulshan in the city on Friday evening, party’s Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi Ahmed said in the afternoon. A source at the party said the meeting will take stock of the evolving political situation. Party highupd stated that the meeting has been called in the wake of imposition of section 144 on the venue of the 20-party alliance’s prescheduled public rally in Gazipur and the arrest of their senior leader Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, according to a news agency.
