BNP's mass procession in city for one-point demand today

Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will bring out its mass procession at 2:00 pm today (Friday) from two different places in the capital to drum up support to their one-point demand- immediate resignation of the government to pave the way for holding the national elections under a neutral caretaker administration.
The party sources said on Thursday that Dhaka city north unit of BNP will start a mass procession from Suvastu Tower, Badda area which will terminate at Abul Hotel intersection at Malibagh Chowdhury Para in the city.
On the other hand, Dhaka city south unit of BNP will start another mass procession from Kamalapur Stadium which will end at Malibagh Rail Gate in the city.
Adviser to BNP chairperson and also party's convener of Dhaka city north unit Aman Ullah Aman and its member secretary Aminul Haque will jointly coordinate the mass procession from Suvastu Tower.
BNP secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will lead the mass procession from Suvastu Tower while standing committee member Mirza Abbas will lead the mass procession from Kamalapur Stadium.
Standing committee members of BNP Nazrul Islam Khan, Amir Khashru Mahmud Chowdhury, vice-presidents Altaf Hossain Chowdhury, Abdul Awal Mintoo, Shahjahan Omar and Shamsuzzaman Dudu, among others, are expected to join the mass procession organised by the Dhaka city north unit.
BNP standing committee members Gayeshwar Chandra Roy, Dr Abdul Moyeen Khan, vice chairmen Barkatullah Bulu, Prof AZM Zahid Hossain and Ahmed Azam Khan, among others, are also expected to participate in the mass procession from Kamalapur Stadium.
Convener of BNP's city south unit Abdus Salam and its acting member secretary Tanvir Ahmed Robin will coordinate the mass procession organised by the unit.
