Boat capsizes in Ctg: 1 missing

A minor boy went missing as a boat capsized in Karnaphuli River in Sadarghat area of Chittagong city on Thursday. The boy was identified as Sunny, 7, son of Jahangir Alam Prodhan of Char Patharghata area under Karnaphuli Police Station. Officer-in-charge (Investigation) Kamaruzzaman of the police station said the Sadarghat-bound boat with 15-20 people aboard sank in the river as it collided with another boat around 4:30pm. All passengers but Sunny managed to swim ashore, according to UNB.
