Bodies found in Mugda, Mirpur

Police have found a decomposed body of a young girl at Botanical Gardens at Mirpur in the city. A young man’s body has also been found in a sack near Anandadhara Bridge in the city’s Mugda. OC of Shah Ali Police Station Md Selimuzzaman said: ‘The decomposed body of a girl in her mid-twenties has been found at the Botanical Garden around 9:30pm on Thursday. She was clad in a salwar-kameez.’ OC said her finger prints had been taken to identify her. Police filed a case at Shah Ali Police station. In another incident, locals informed the police about a sack dumped near Anandadhara Bridge in Mugda after noticing it around 10:30am on Friday. Miscreants might have dumped the body there after killing him, according to bdnews24.com.
