Body formed to probe assault of JU journalist

JAHANGIRNAGAR UNIVERSITY, May 18 (UNB): A three-member committee headed by Prof Farhad Hossain, pro vice-Chancellor of Jahangirnagar University, has been formed to investigate the assault of journalists on the JU campus.
The other members of the committee are Manjurul Haque of Geography and Environment Department and Firoz Hossain of Government and Politics Department.
Earlier, Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) men attacked one journalist Emon Rahman, JU Correspondent of Daily Kaler Kantha at the ground floor of the Social Science Faculty building Sunday.
