Body formed to probe attack on journos at RMCH

Rajshahi Medical College Hospital (RMCH) authorities on Monday formed a seven-member panel to probe on Sunday night’s attack on journalists by interns at the hospital that left 10 of them injured.The probe committee, headed by RMCH director Brig Gen AKM Nasir Uddin, was formed at an emergency meeting of the hospital’s governing body around 3pm. The probe panel has been asked to submit its report within next seven days. Meanwhile, officer-in-charge (OC) of Boalia Police Station Saidur Rahman was closed to the district police lines on Monday for dereliction of duty over the incident, according to a news agency.
