Body formed to probe clash on RU campus

Rajshahi University (RU) authorities have formed a five-member probe committee to determine the cause of the recent clash and attack on campus and recommend action against those found responsible.
The committee has been asked to submit its report within 10 working days.
Following the incident that took place on Monday, the university administration constituted the committee with Prof Md. Rezaul Karim of the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology as its convener on Tuesday. The information was confirmed by ProfDr SM Kamruzzaman, administrator of the University's Public Relations Office.
Other members of the committee are Prof Md Golam Sadik of the Department of Pharmacy, Prof Md Asadul Haque of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Prof Md. Ariful Islam of the Department of Philosophy, and Prof A Naeem Faruqi of the Department of Applied Chemistry and Chemical Engineering.
