A six-member committee has been formed to provide assistance to the visiting National Investigation Agency (NIA) team over sharing information about the October 2 bomb blast in Burdwan town in India’s West Bengal state. Home Ministry senior secretary Dr Mozammel Haque Khan said that the NIA team held a meeting with them on Monday. ‘At the meeting we’ve decided that we’ll share our problems and cooperate with them during their investigation,’ he said. A committee has been formed to assist the Indian NIA team, he said. ‘As per their claim, if any Bangladeshi is found involved in the incident, the committee will verify his of her identity and provide assistance to take legal action against those,’ Mozammel Haque Khan said. Replying to a question, he said ‘The NIA team has not given any hint about their queries yet, if they provide any information to us we’ll look into the matter,’ according to a news agency.
