Body of abducted man recovered in Cox\\\'s Bazar

Police on Sunday recovered the body of a businessman abducted on April 9 from Cox’s Bazar town. At least four police were also injured in the drive when police detained four people with arms and bullets. The deceased businessman was identified as Azizul Haque Arzu, 35, son of Abdul Aziz, of Pahartali area in Chittagong city. Officer-in-Charge (OC) Mahfur Rahman of Cox’s Bazar Sadar Police Station said a gang of criminals kidnapped Arzu on April 9 from the district town. Following the incident, the family of the victim filed a case in connection with the incident. Early on Sunday police received information that the kidnapped businessman was kept there, a team of police raided the area and recovered the body put beneath the earth. Police detained four including two women in connection with the incident, according to a news agency.
