Body of another man dumped into N\\\'ganj river by killers

A land broker was tortured to death allegedly over land dispute and the body was dumped into Menikhali River in Sonargaon Upazila in Narayanganj district at sometime between Saturday night and Sunday night. The deceased was identified as Tota Mia, 38, son of Mohabbat Ali of Mirerbagh village under Jampur union in the Upazila. Locals found Tota’s body was found around 7am today on a pier of Menikhali River, barely 10 meters away from Sonargaon police station's main gate. Police and locals said the body bore injury marks near the right eye and on the head and forehead. Victim’s family said he was missing since Saturday evening. His wife Lily Akter claimed that he was tortured to death over land dispute, according to bdnews24.com.
