Body of Bangladeshi man recovered in Bahrain

The body of a Bangladeshi expatriate has been recovered off Sitra coast of Bahrain. The deceased was identified as Zunaid Mia, 31, son of Ruhul Amin of Kadupur village under Golapganj upazila of Sylhet district. Sources at hospital and expatriate Bangladeshi workers said Zunaid went to Sitra for fishing along with two more compatriots on June 29. The sources also said the boat that was carrying them met with an accident. Zunaid remained missing since then. Bahrain’s coast guard personnel searched for the body of Zunaid and found it in the morning of July 7, the sources said. Currently, his body is kept at Salmania Medical Complex hospital morgue. Hospital doctors said the body is totally decomposed. When contacted, Bangladesh mission in Bahrain confirmed the matter on Wednesday, according to a news agency.
