Body of expatriate recovered in Dhaka

An expatriate man, who had gone missing in Dhaka 10 days ago, was found dead in Turag area of the city on Monday night. Locals said London expatriate Jalal Uddin, 50, was staying staying in the city’s Dakkhin Khan area after returning from London recently. They said he went missing on September 10 and was found dead in Sholohati area under Turag Police Station around 10pm on Monday. Being informed police recovered his body from Sholohati area and sent the body, bearing injury marks, to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy. Police and locals suspected that he was killed by miscreants after kidnap, according to a news agency.
