Body of missing van driver found buried in Madaripur

MADARIPUR, Aug 12 (bdnews24.com): Police have recovered the body of a rickshaw van driver buried in the ground in Madaripur's Shibchar Upazila, 12 days after he went missing. A man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The body was recovered from the upazila's Bakharerkandi area on Tuesday morning, according to Madaripur Assistant Superintendent of Police (Shibchar Circle) Md Salauddin Quader.
The deceased was identified as Mizan Sheikh, 45, son of Aziz Sheikh from Shibchar's Balakandi.
The arrestee, Nurul Amin Shamim, is the son of Hashem Sheikh from Shariatpur's Gomastakandi. According to police and locals, Mizan Sheikh left home with his van on the morning of Jul 31. When he did not return home, his family began searching for him.
