Body of youth recovered

SHERPUR, May 25 (UNB) : Police here Tuesday morning recovered decomposed body of an unidentified youth from the bank of Mrigi River adjacent to Bataraghat Eidgah in Sadar Upazila. Police said locals found a trunk on the riverside at about 10:30am and informed them. Later, police recovered the decomposed body of the youth from inside the trunk and sent it to hospital morgue for autopsy. Police suspected that miscreants might have abducted the youth from elsewhere and killed him following a previous enmity some days back. A UD case was filed. Another report from Pabna adds: Police Tuesday morning recovered unidentified body of a young girl from Kalikapur Degree para area of Ishwardi Upazila. Police said locals found the body in a nearby bush and informed them. Later, police recovered the body that bore injury marks at around 12 noon and sent it to Sadar hospital morgue for autopsy. Police suspected that miscreants killed the girl after brutal torture.
