Body recovered from Rangs Bhaban

Police recovered the body of a man from the rooftop of Rangs Bhaban at Purana Paltan in Dhaka on Tuesday morning. However, the indetity of the deceased could not be known. Sources at Paltan Police Station said, being informed, a police team rushed to the multi-storey Rangs building opposite to Bangladesh House Building Finance Corporation's headquarters around 8:30am and recovered the body of the unidentified man, aged around 29, which was hanging from mobile phone tower on the rooftop of the Rangs Bhaban at around 9:00am. Police could not say whether it was homicide or suicide. A Paltan police official said the body will be sent to Dhaka Medical College Hospital for autopsy.
