Bogura, Jamalpur road accidents kill five

A total of five persons were killed in separate road accidents in Bogura and Jamalpur districts on Wednesday and Tuesday afternoon, reports agencies.
In Bogura, two people were killed and two others injured in a head-on collision between a CNG-run three-wheeler and a pickup van in Matidoli area of the district town on Wednesday.
The deceased were identified as CNG-run three-wheeler driver Mokhleshur Rahman, 50, son of Yunus Ali, a resident of Shibganj upazila of the district, and Rafiqul Islam, 52, son of Abul Hossain of Shyampur village of the same upazila.
In Jamalpur, at least three people died and three others were injured after a CNG-run auto-rickshaw collided head-on with a sand-laden truck in Jamalpur Sadar Upazila.
The incident happened at Bharuakhali Bazar area on the Jamalpur-Mymensingh highway on Tuesday afternoon.
