Board of Investment (BoI) will strengthen its facilitating, coordinating and advocacy role for policy reforms and other areas related to investment.
BoI Executive Chairman Dr Syed A Samad assured chamber leaders at a discussion on 'the latest investment situation in Bangladesh' organised by the board at a city hotel recently, said a press release.
Also present at the meeting were Privatisation Commission (PC) Chairman Dr Mirza Abdul Jalil, Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) Chairman Syed M Yusuf Hossain, Metropolitan Chamber of Commerce and Industry (MCCI) President M Anis Ud Dowla, Small and Medium Enterprise Foundation Chairman Abtab Ul Islam, Bangladesh-Malaysia Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BMCCI) Secretary General and Chief Corporate Affairs Officer, Warid Telecom Ashrafal H Chowdhury and Japan-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry (JBCCI) Secretary General Dr Moazzem Hossain.
