Boiler blast kills woman, burns two children

A female worker was killed and her two children were injured in a boiler explosion at a rice mill at Ashuganj Upazila in Brahmanbaria district on Saturday. The deceased was identified as Amena Begum, 45. Police said Amena sustained burn injuries when a boiler at Bulbul Auto Rice Mill, situated at Sonarampur village, exploded around 7:00am. Her two children were also injured in the explosion. They were staying with Amena when the accident struck. Amena, who used to live with her children at a house near the mill for work purpose, died on the way to a local hospital. Her two children were sent to Dhaka for better treatment, according to a news agency.
