BoK declares profit rates on PLS deposits

PESHAWAR, Jan 18 (Business Recorder): The Bank of Khyber (BoK) has declared the profit rates on various PLS deposits of conventional branches for the half year ended on December 31, 2009 at the following rates from July 1, 2009.
According to the press release issued here, profit on notice deposits of 7 to 29 days is 1.25 per cent while for 30 days notice deposits the profit is 1.50 per cent.
Special deposit account (SDA) is five per cent, PLS saving account five per cent. Term deposits: Three months TDR 2.00 per cent, six months TDR, 2.50 per cent, one year TDR 5.50 per cent, two years TDR 6.00 per cent, three years TDR 6.50 per cent, four years 7.00 per cent and five years TDR 8.00 per cent.
