Bokshi Bazar beat Police in Fed Cup Basketball

Bokshi Bazar recorded an exciting 50-47 points victory over Bangladesh Police in the lone match of the Citycell Federation Cup Basketball Championship at the Dhanmondi Basketball Gymnasium Monday, reports BSS. Both teams were locked into 21-21 points each at the breather. Shaheen was the leading scorer of the match with 16 points well supported by Amilon with 15. Tahmid with 13 and Niaz with 7 points were the main scorers. Earlier late Sunday evening, Border Guard Bangladesh crushed Old DOHS by 111-32 points after leading the first half by 53-8. 3 Federation Cup first round draw held The knock-out stage first round of the Grameenphone Federation Cup Football will kick off at the Bangabandhu National Stadium Friday, reports UNB. The highest scorer and the best player will receive Tk 25 thousand each. Beside, all the participating teams will receive Tk 25 thousand each as participation money. BFF executive committee member Harunur Rashid, tournament committee members Abu Hasan Chowdhury Prince, acting general secretary Abu Nayeem Shohag and additional DIG of Police Sheikh M Maruf Hasan were also present on the occasion.
