Bolger witnesses JS proceedings

Jim Bolger, special envoy to the New Zealand Prime Minister, on Monday witnessed the proceedings of Jatiya Sangsad (parliament) from the VIP gallery. The special envoy entered the House after Magrib prayers. Speaker Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury welcomed Bolger, who is also former Prime Minister of the New Zealand, to the House and introduced him with the parliament members. The MPs present in the House warmly welcomed him thumping their desks, according to a news agency.
