\\\'Boma Mizan\\\' in India!

Sunday, 26 October 2014

Jahidul Islam, alias 'Boma Mizan', the fugitive Jamaa'tul Mujaheedin Bangladesh (JMB) activist, has perhaps fled to India, says Indian intelligence. His footprint has been last tracked in Rajarhat, on the outskirts of Kolkata, about a month ago. But it is after the October 2 Burdwan blast that central intelligence has started chasing leads on Mizan with renewed vigour. Mizan was freed by his JMB comrades in a daring highway ambush in Trishal Upazila in Mymensingh district when he was being taken to a Mymensingh court from Gazipur's Kashimpur prison earlier this year. One of the four freed was later killed in 'crossfire' and three JMB activists including Mizan are absconding, according to bdnews24.com.
