Bomb hurled at Ctg BNP leader\\\'s house

Some miscreants hurled 3/4 bombs at the residence of BNP’s Chittagong city unit general secretary Dr Shahadat Hossain on Badsha Mia road in Chakbazar in the port city early Thursday. Witnesses said the criminals hurled the bombs targeting the flat of Dr Shahadat in ‘Sunway Oriana’ building when the BNP leader was not at home. The bombs exploded with a big bang creating panic among the locals. However, no injured was reported. When contacted Dr Shahadat Hossain alleged that 50/60 people launched the bomb attack on his house. Chakbazar thana officer-in-charge Atiq Ahmed said none lodged any complaint over the incident, according to a news agency.
