The Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) will introduce the book building method for IPO (initial public offering) pricing by the end of this year to attract big issues in the stock market.
"The scientific price mechanism-book building method-will be introduced within next two or three months," Faruq Ahmad Siddiqi, SEC chairman, said in a seminar titled 'Book Building Method and Its practices' Sunday.
