Book elaborating customs tariff rates published

A book, titled 'The MFN Tariff Schedule,' elaborating customs tariff rates of all products for the fiscal 2008-09 was published recently.
All kinds of duties and taxes have been arranged in this book under their respective HS Codes.
The book contains HS Code, description of goods, statistical unit, CD (Customs duty/Import duty) rate, SD (Supplementary duty) rate, VAT rate (import stage), AIT (Advance Income Tax) rate, ATV (Advance Trade VAT), PSI (Preshipment Inspection) Status and statutory regulatory order (SRO) indicators.
Importers, industrialists, businessmen, customs agents and other concerned persons will be able to know about the import-banned or restricted items as per IPO (Import Policy Order) and TTI (Total Tax Incidence).
The book, edited by Mohammad Ferdous, has been published by Liton Law Book Centre.
