Book on Rokeya in German language unveiled

RANGPUR, Dec 13 (BSS): A book written on the `Life Sketch of Begum Rokeya Shakhawat Hossain' exposing her philosophy, literary works and social conscience in German language was ceremonially unveiled here last evening.
A ceremony was arranged for unveiling cover of the book at Begum Rokeya Smriti Kendra auditorium in village Pairaband, birthplace of the pioneer of women renaissance in the sub- continent, under Mithapukur Upazila here.
With president of German-Bangla Society expatriate Hamidul Haque Khan in the char, chairman of `Anumito Hisab Somporkito Sangshadiyo Sthayee Committee' HN Ashiqur Rahman, MP, attended the ceremony as the chief to unveil the cover.
