Book reading habit to build enlightened nation stressed

GAIBANDHA, Apr 3 (BSS): Speakers at a function here on Wednesday stressed the need for developing book reading habit of all particularly the students and young generation to enrich knowledge.
"Reading of books always enhances knowledge through removing ignorance from the mindset of everybody which creates enlightened society as well as the nation as a whole", they said.
They made the observations while addressing a workshop on 'Reading Habit Development' at the auditorium of Sundarganj upazila parishad of the district.
Upazila Secondary Education Office arranged the workshop under Secondary Education Quality and Access Enhancement Project with the implementation of Bishwa Shahitya Kendra (BSK).
