Booters reach Kathmandu

Bangladesh national football team, led by skipper Aminul Huq, reached Kathmandu Thursday afternoon to play the lone practice match ahead of the AFC Challenge Cup qualifier that will begin on April 26 at the Bangabandhu National Stadium, UNB reports.
Bangladesh will take on Nepal Police team at 4:35 pm tomorrow (Saturday).
Talking to the reporters prior to the team's departure at noon, skipper Aminul Huq said their target would be to play good football against their Nepali opponents.
He said: "We only know Nepal Police team are a strong side, but have no idea about their play. We'll try our level best to play good football against them."
Bangladesh team will return home on April 19. Bangladesh squad: Aminul (captain), Biplob, Nasir, Wali, Mishu, Rashed, Rajani, Sujan, Saikat, Mamun, Arman, Sharif, Pranotosh, Manik, Zahed, Mamunul, Munna, Emon, Enamul and Mithun.Officials: Imtiaz Sultan Johny (manager), Edson Silva Dido (head coach), Shafiqul Islam Manik (coach), Ariel Coleman (trainer) and Dalilur Rahman (Physio).
