Boro seeds distributed in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Nov 24 (BSS): Bangladesh Agricultural Development Corporation (BADC) Narsingdi has distributed 1,188 tonnes of Boro seeds (BRRI-28 and BRRI-29 varieties Dan) of the district to make the current Boro cultivation programme a success.
The BADC sources said the 1,138 tonnes Boro seeds distributed through 91 dealers of the six upazilas of the district. It also distributed 50 tonnes of seeds among the farmers directly from its local office at the rate of Taka 340 per bag (10kgs).
Mahamuda Begum, Senior Assistant Director of BADC, Narsingdi told BSS that it also distributed 8 tonnes of super high-breed Boro seeds among the farmers.
