BOU courses to go online

Vice Chancellor (VC) of Bangladesh Open University (BOU) Dr MA Mannan met President Abdul Hamid at Bangabhaban on Wednesday and said its all the courses to be brought under online coverage, reports UNB.
During the meeting, the VC apprised the President about the activities of BOU and said it has now some 6,00,000 students, President's press secretary Ihsanul Karim said after the meeting.
Dr Mannan also apprised the President that a research centre to conduct research on Bangladesh liberation war to be set up in the university.
He invited the President to chair the 4th convocation of the university.
Abdul Hamid expressed his satisfaction over the academic activities of BOU and stressed the need for more expansion of its activities.
Later, a delegation of Kendriya Khelaghar Asar made a courtesy on President Abdul Hamid.
