BOU launches 4-yr degree programme

Bangladesh Open University (BOU) has introduced a four-year degree programme from the current session. All necessary preparations have been taken for admission of students into the programme from social science, humanities and language school of BOU, said a press release. In the education programmme of 120 credits, the students will have to complete five courses in every semester. There is scope of getting degree in maximum eight years in the programme to be held in open and distance learning system. Anyone intending to get admission to the programme has been asked to submit application by April 13 at BOU's regional centres in Dhaka, Chittagong and Rajshahi. The admission test will be held at those centres simultaneously on April 22. Admission form can also be downloaded from internet. - UNB
